We are excited to invite you to the 3rd Annual St. John the Baptist Golf Outing at Crystal Lake Golf Course!
This fun and family-friendly event welcomes golfers with plenty of games and fun for all.
It is bound to be the event of the season!
The St. John the Baptist Golf Outing is a 9-hole competition that uses a shotgun start 4-person (best ball) scramble format.
The $85 registration fee includes 9 holes of golf with a cart, a box lunch, and two drink tickets.
Register as a four-some, couple, or individual.
Space is limited so act quickly! Registration closes September 5.
If you are registering a team, or more than one golfer, please be prepared to enter each individuals name, email address and mobile phone number.
To donate a raffle basket or an item, please bring your donation to the parish or school office before September 10.
Basket raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20, and can be purchased the day of the golf outing.
Hole Sponsors will be recognized at the hole tee box with a sign.
All Level Sponsors are recognized at the Golf Outing and on all Golf Hole signs.
Gold and Platinum Sponsors are also featured on the Golf Outing web page.

WHAT IS A SCRAMBLE?
All four players on a team will contribute to the score of their team rather than each individual.
HOW DO YOU PLAY IN A SCRAMBLE?
All four team members tee off on each hole. Together, the team decides which tee shot they like the best. The best ball is then marked on the spot with a tee or ball marker. The other team members pick up their balls and place them within one club length (no closer to the hole) of the marked spot. Each team member then hits their next shot from the chosen spot. This process follows on every shot for the remainder of the holes, including putts. Putts need to be made within 3 inches of the marked spot (no closer to the hole). The first ball to go in the hole is counted for the team's score.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A TEAM OF 4?
Individual or couple golfers will be paired up with other attendees to form a 4-person team. Teams will be shared at registration.
WHAT TIME IS THE SHOTGUN START (TEE OFF)?
Meet at the stage at 11:45 for announcements. Golfing begins at NOON (shotgun start).
WHAT HOLE DO I START AT AND WHEN?
The team's opening hole will be assigned upon check-in. At 11:45 am, the Golf Outing Team will announce the rules and next steps. Following the announcement, drive to your assigned hole and tee off at NOON (the shotgun start time). Drivers are assigned to golf only half of the course, either the front or the back nine. Ex: If assigned to the front 9 holes, participants will golf only the front 9 (holes 1-9). If starting on hole 7, participants would golf hole 7, 8, 9, then circle back to holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, to finish on hole 6.
WILL THERE BE OTHER THINGS TO DO?
Yes! There are games available to both golfers and spectators, including a 50/50 raffle and a Gift Basket bucket raffle.
On course games include: Corn hole (on holes 5/14), Longest putt (on holes 4/16), Closest to the pin (on holes 7/14), Longest drive (on holes 9/17).
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Golf will be played rain or shine. There will be no rain date.
ARE MY SPONSORSHIP DONATIONS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, all sponsorship donors will receive a tax donation receipt to the email used for donor registration.
